Hi Karen,
My recommendation would be to either find a Las Vegas Institute trained dentist in your area, or come see us. Do some research on Las Vegas Institute so you are familiar with their philosophy and protocol.
Best,
Dr. Behm

I have a malpostured jaw, shaven down molars from crown removals and then grinding, abnormal left condyle and as a consequence an unbalanced upper cervical.
The dentists I go to for acrylic splints make models of my bite and give me acrylic splints that replicate/exacerbate my current bite - instead of correcting it. I have so much pressure in my upper palate/throat/uppercervical from this. I get some relief by biting onto a toothpick on my left side.... NOT the right. I am in Beaverton, Oregon and need to know how to balance my jaws in all 3 planes of occlusion while taking into consideration my off-balanced skull. I have read that simply having a dentist fill my back 2 molars with onlay material will allow relief for my skull to readjust naturally, but i cannot find a dentist who comprehends this? What would you do if you were in my situation and finding it harder and harder to hold your head up due to compression and fatigue caused my a bad jaw?

Hi Kaitlyn,
It can replace normal brushing. If you want to brush first, use any good quality toothpaste that doesn't have fluoride, preferably from a health food store. We like Tooth & Gums a lot, see on our site. After 2 weeks, use the recipe at least once a day, continue rubber tipping and flossing. You will have such a healthy mouth!!
Best,

Hi Mallika,
Sorry, we don't take any insurance programs. Some insurance policies will reimburse you directly after you get service from us, but don't know if an Aetna PPO program would. You can call Sarah at our office at 727 647-7728 to get more info, but you will probably have to call Aetna to see what they will cover for an office that is not one of their preferred providers.

Hi Mallika,

Thank you for your kind words about our protocols. Yes, for many years I have seen dramatic improvements in gum health using those simple ingredients.

We do not work with any insurance companies. Some policies let you go to any dentist you want, with others you are restricted to those on a list. Either way, the amount paid each year is only around $1,000, which does not allow for much dentistry to be done.

Please call our office at 727 446-6747 if you'd like more info.

Best,

Ray Behm DDS
